We process personal data exclusively in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). Below we inform you about the nature, scope and purpose of the processing.
3. Accessing our website (server log files)
When you access this website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits automatically. This includes in particular:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- page or file accessed
- browser type and operating system used
The processing serves to provide the website and ensure its security on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The log files are deleted after a short period unless they are needed to investigate malfunctions or misuse.
4. Contacting us
If you contact us via the contact form, by email or by telephone, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, contact details, content of your enquiry) in order to handle your enquiry. The contact form opens your own email program; the message is sent directly to us by email. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual or contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for processing your enquiry and no statutory retention obligations apply.
5. Fonts (Google Fonts)
This website uses fonts (“Google Fonts”) provided by Google Ireland Limited. When you access a page, your browser loads the required fonts from a Google server, whereby your IP address is transmitted to Google. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a uniform presentation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
6. Map display (Google Maps)
On the contact page, we embed a map from the “Google Maps” service of Google Ireland Limited so that you can find our location. When the map loads, data (including your IP address) is transmitted to Google and may be processed in the USA. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing simple directions (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Further information can be found in the Google Privacy Policy.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- access to the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
- lodging a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR)
